Wish list: A&F super skinny jeans

My perfect jeans
ah
Have you ever been on a quest for the perfect jeans? Well, I have definitely found mine last winter, when I have finally succumbed to trying on a pair of Abercrombie jeans. I always thought they were extremely over-priced and too mainstream, cool kids on the block type. But man oh man, they fit like a glove. No gapping in the back, didn't even need to shorten them (size 2S), they didn't flatten my bump... all in all... jeans paradise. They are pretty much the only ones I wear. From casual friday's at work, with a sweater on a cold sunday, to high heels and blazers. It was the most expensive pair of jeans I have ever bought, but they were so worth it (this should give you an idea of how little I pay for clothes even though I am a shopaholic). Here they are in a bit darker version than the ones I have. Added to my wish list. Dot.

I encourage you to find your perfect pair. They are worth it.

P.S. I am secretly (or not so secretly) making a wish list for anyone that wants to buy me a birthday/christmas present. Both are coming up. Wink Wink.

Red to match the carpet

Red i definitely the color of the season. Maybe you should consider it for the next birthday party/new years eve?

I love the hourglass shape...

Even the black-loving Angelina Jolie put on some sexy red.

Classic and so cute. I would do it sort though. Looks younger.

Love how structured it looks.

Obsessed with... Heavy Knit Sweaters. Give me that knit!!

I believe that one of the biggest trends of Fall 2011 are exactly these snow-storm, grandma style, skiing anytime SWEATERS. Since I first saw Olivia Palermo pair a sweater with a long flowy skirt, I knew something was up. And now we see all the fall collections having a little knit party together, not to mention the approachable take on knit from our fav stores forever 21, zara and on. The cheap and chic section of this post is at the bottom, so you can go ahead and get shopping! And may I say that a sweater is a very easy Christmas present? Oh boy, those presents are coming...I have a list to make and some shopping to do. Credit card be scared!

P.S. I also did a knit post just when I started blogging, check it out and tell me if I have improved? :p

Wish list: J.Crew cape sweater

Welcome to the new section of my blog, where all the highly desired and probably very unnecessary objects form a unique got-to-have-it list. As I hope I am in real life, I will never be unrealistic on this list. It will always be something that I can afford but if you put all those items together, I wouldn't be able to have them all. Those McQueen booties will never be on this list, at least not for now. Please join me in my sighs while looking at these photos and remember I am always open to critiques (ex. that's ugly and you don't need it, go with the previous wish list item, at least that one is something that can be worn on the street!)

First on the list: The J.Crew cape sweater. When I first saw it, I loved it. Now when it's on sale, I love it even more. Down from $198 to $129.99, still a bit steep but MAYBE doable. If I don't shop for another two weeks. If it's still there. Damn those sale-grabbing people. Why don't they always have bellies and grab size L only? Buy here. (crossing my fingers that you are buying it for me :))

I'm in love with a shoe!

I have to say that this kind of love I have not experienced yet... I'm not saying that there was never a sandal here and there, an occasional one night stand with a stiletto, but this is different, this is true love

We met in the chaotic Macy's shoe department, on the corner of 34th St. and Broadway. Way above on the 5th Floor, on a glorious white pedestal, there it was - the shoe. My eyes watered, sparkled in awe, a few blinks followed and my hand moved swiftly towards it. To touch, to feel, to experience. As it it usually goes with such encounters - sheer disappointment follows as the number on the bottom signifies an incompatibility. Lo and behold, there was a red sticker. A red sticker that brought a wide smile to my face. In an ecstatic rush, I grabbed the first salesperson and demanded a proper, fitting acquaintance. The service was unusually fast (anyone that knows Macy's will understand) and my relationship began. As I swirled and twirled in front of the mirror, the busy floor seemed to have been transformed into a paradise. That is, until the words "the right one should be somewhere on the floor" shattered my illusion. I was puzzled, my heart started to beat faster and I thought "You mean, I have to find it in all of this?" The answer was clear. I knew I had to fight for true love and so I have began my journey through the jungle of angry tourists, furious salespeople and a graveyard of unwanted shoes. About 45 minutes later, a dozen clearance racks, and too many glances at the floor, I realized that maybe we are just not meant to be. To give it a one last shot, I looked again. The second I saw those beige laces, I grabbed them. My calculation showed that it could possibly be it. I couldn't have looked inside any faster. Happiness overcame me as soon as I saw that small printed 7.5M.

I knew, this will be forever. Without further ado, introducing my true love:

Beautify: just some black

Who said that black on nails has to look goth?

Obsessed with... The Pattern Skirt

I've seen it everywhere this fall season. It brings color, mesmerizing patterns, and just a little something to clear up the gloomy skies, to warm up our colder days and to just make this season bearable. So put a plain t-shirt on top, or a heavy knit cardigan (in one color unless you are an absolute genius and know how to mix patterns), a plain silky shirt, a nice deep v-neck or anything else that comes to your mind. It doesn't have to be simple, it can have a little something here and there, just don't make yourself into a Christmas tree (I've seen plenty of that happen with such a loud skirt). If your little feet get a bit chilly, put on those dark pantyhose. They can look pretty good too!
