Obsessed with... Heavy Knit Sweaters. Give me that knit!!
I believe that one of the biggest trends of Fall 2011 are exactly these snow-storm, grandma style, skiing anytime SWEATERS. Since I first saw Olivia Palermo pair a sweater with a long flowy skirt, I knew something was up. And now we see all the fall collections having a little knit party together, not to mention the approachable take on knit from our fav stores forever 21, zara and on. The cheap and chic section of this post is at the bottom, so you can go ahead and get shopping! And may I say that a sweater is a very easy Christmas present? Oh boy, those presents are coming...I have a list to make and some shopping to do. Credit card be scared!
P.S. I also did a knit post just when I started blogging, check it out and tell me if I have improved? :p

Wish list: J.Crew cape sweater
Welcome to the new section of my blog, where all the highly desired and probably very unnecessary objects form a unique got-to-have-it list. As I hope I am in real life, I will never be unrealistic on this list. It will always be something that I can afford but if you put all those items together, I wouldn't be able to have them all. Those McQueen booties will never be on this list, at least not for now. Please join me in my sighs while looking at these photos and remember I am always open to critiques (ex. that's ugly and you don't need it, go with the previous wish list item, at least that one is something that can be worn on the street!)
First on the list: The J.Crew cape sweater. When I first saw it, I loved it. Now when it's on sale, I love it even more. Down from $198 to $129.99, still a bit steep but MAYBE doable. If I don't shop for another two weeks. If it's still there. Damn those sale-grabbing people. Why don't they always have bellies and grab size L only? Buy here. (crossing my fingers that you are buying it for me :))

Get your knits on!
What I really love about this winter is the fact that chunky sweaters have become all the rage. They are not the sweaters your grandmother buys you for Christmas anymore, they have become an addition to your fashion full closet. So I am glad to pile up the layers this year, because I know that it not only feels great but looks good. Here are some examples of crazy knits. Don't be afraid to belt them, play them up with some nice thicker stockings, maybe over the knee sweater socks, and add some winter shorts. The look is warm, cozy, and looks great.
