Spring Trend: Red + Pink

While my mother would probably cringe and mumble how horrible I look, I can not help but get swept away in the pink and red craze that has started in the fall season and continues strong into the wonderful ,coming very fast, spring. 


I would stick to the tailored pants/shorts/skirt scenario with a simple shirt on top or the again tailored bottoms with a blazer in the contrasting hue. I think the accessories should be kept in nudes (or black) just so the whole outfit doesn't look clown-like (and we know that people manage to obtain that effect with even less drastic colors).

Why do we love sheer so much? You know the answer. Because it's the good and the evil, the black and the white...because it shows and it hides at the same time. You can be sexy but always leave them wondering. 


I am sure that girls would always find a way to make it look totally hoochy. I refer to is as a "hidden talent." You have seen those examples... When they are wearing the right dress but the wrong size (almost always two sizes too small), with the wrong accessories, the too-tall heels they don't know how to walk in, and probably...fishnets (note: fishnets CAN look good when worn right).  When you cringe and look away, just imagine these images and go back to your happy place.

I adore long sheer skirts. Own one!

Obsessed with... The Stella McCartney Fall 2012 Evening Collection

All it took was one look and I was in love... The long dresses, the patterns, the colors, the colorblocking and those amazing gold belts. And then you add lace, suiting... I mean.. What can absolutely be more perfect? Nothing. Emerge yourself in my favorites because we all know that I choose the best :).


P.S. Don't mind the super models and fashion faces that are in this campaign, I just treated them as meat...
